Dr Vincent Pettigrove, CEO CAPIM
Dr Pettigrove is CAPIM’s CEO, and leads CAPIM’s Freshwater Research Program. Dr Pettigrove is a Senior Aquatic Ecologist with Melbourne Water, and a Principle Research Fellow in the Department of Zoology at The University of Melbourne. Dr Pettigrove has 25 years experience in the Australian water industry and is an expert in aquatic ecology and pollution monitoring.
Prof Mick Keough, Estuarine Research
Prof Keough leads CAPIM’s estuarine monitoring research program. Prof Keough is an expert in marine and estuarine ecology, based in the Department of Zoology at the University of Melbourne. Prof Keough, and is an advisor to government on risk assessment and environmental monitoring, and is a member of the Victorian Coastal Council.
Assoc. Prof Stephen Swearer, Esturine Fish and Pollution Research
Assoc. Prof Swearer leads CAPIM’s estuarine Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals (EDC) research program and is a co-investigator of heavy metals in estuaries with Prof Keough. Assoc. Prof Swearer is a senior researcher in the Marine Biology group in the Department of Zoology at the University of Melbourne. He is an expert in marine and estuarine ecology and fish otolith chemistry.
